clunking noise in rear end

when I am driving downhill on a winding road and and finally have to apply my brakes after driving down the road a ways I get a clunking noise and a shudder that seems like it comes from the driver side rear axle. I had the dealer look at it under warrenty and they did not find anything. This is still happening but only under those conditions. Last week driving down hwy 94 in dulxura it happened again and seems louder this time. any ideas?

It doesn't happen any other time?

Control arm bushings, panhard rod bushings, maybe end links, all of these items would make noise in other various conditions though.

Could be control arm or pan hard bar bushings. I know when my pan hard rod bushings went clunked a bit

Is it consistently repeatable in the same situation/hill? Or does it seem to only happen on a random basis?

Does it happen if you push lightly on the brakes, or only when pressing hard? Does it do it if you slightly engage the e-brake instead of the normal brakes?
