Got some progress done on the fog light projector retrofit. Just need to seal back up the fog light and it'll be pretty much done. Aside from the chipping from melting the reflector trying to bake it to get the lens off. Still looks pretty damn good to me for my first retrofit though.
I may or may not have jumped on the rock light wagon... Finished installing and wiring them up yesterday.
On a (not-so) smaller note, I sheared the shaft bolt on my AC compressor while trying to replace the bearing on it, so I've got a new compressor, tubes, and condensor on the way as well.
Loving the lights Mason... thinking of stuffing some green LEDS under my door handles as accents. I was also toying with the idea of back-lighting the chevy bow tie green too: like the CLA Benz does in white. But that's for another day.
Today I took the lead from V7GUYs universal axle boot write up. This is the second time within a year I'm replacing the driver's side CV (boot tear) and remembered his build page. I believe there is a discussion on Silicone vs. Neoprene boots out there too. I went the silicone route.
Nothing to do with offroading.... But my current headlights put off a good amount of glare so I decided to do a projector retrofit. Going to be testing it out tonight. Not completely done yet... Need to do do some fine tuning on the beam height, make a shroud, put the grille part in, and seal it all up... But its just about done. Led projectors are from a toyota corolla.
Replacing the 6 month old KO2 that got a twig in its sidewall a few weeks ago... Spare awd disco came in today, so that'll be going on soon to restore me to full duty status

No pics yet, but got my Dumbo Ear Silverado towing mirrors converted to the TB connector. I hope to have those mounted this weekend, but may be tackling CV and hub replacements instead.
Picked up the TB from a shop today, after having them replace right front outer TRE and upper A arm, and of course alignment to get everything straight again. It sucks when you get too old to crawl under the truck and do these things yourself, so have to pay shop rates.
Never thought I was going to fix the passenger side dents but found a sweet deal on the doors and fenders and decided to take a ride up to Bingham Maine today to pick up both passenger doors and a passenger fender for $145. Should do the job when the internals get switched and they get repainted.
Put the Z71 suspension on! Tried to pair it with Mark's rear blocks but couldn't get the coils small enough even with compressors and the shocks and end links disconnected.
On the Envoy I just picked up, I did the tie rod ends, the front diff fluid (it had like a cup in it), the rear diff fluid (I'm pretty sure it was factory with 204k miles), and the rear brakes. Also drained the T-case, but haven't filled it yet. Oh, and the trans came out and is currently getting rebuilt.
(the larger chunks there are rust that dropped off the cover when I removed it)
