Replaced tie rod ends(inner and outer),ball joints, upper and lower control arms, cvs, struts, and moog 14's. Rides stiff.

Got the P0014 code. Debating if its worth cleaning or just swap out the part. Been 80K miles since I put one in.

Ive replaced mine and cleaned it and the code still wont go away. And yes I did go to the dealership and got a genuine GM part.

I changed the oil and put about 40 miles on with no code return. Will see if it reappears with a longer drive soon.

Not today, but recently switched out transfer cases. Mine started making a loud clicking noise which then became a popping at moderate acceleration while 4wd was engaged. Had no power at the front wheels either. I used the troubleshooting guide to determine that it was the transfer case. Then I went to the yard and jerked an HD case out of a TB EXT.

$150 and two hours later, I was back in 4wd.

I've sourced the parts, and while it's a bit cost prohibitive (since I can get t-cases for $150), I don't want to swap out t-cases every couple years, so I'm going to do a complete rebuild, clutches and all, as I get the cash to buy parts. Judging by what I've found, I should be able to do an entire rebuild myself for around $500.

I'm not real sure, I don't think the one I pulled out said it but I could be wrong. I couldn't really find anything online differentiating except for when the names changed (new process, new venture gear).

This one works, the other one didn't. Lol

I actually found a TB in the local recycler's yard that had all of the rubber cup holder liners!I bought those, and the driver side door handle bezel, with all of its mounting tabs intact, for the grand sum of $5. Of course the part I had gone looking for was the rear liftgate glass, and that was gone from the only EXT model in the place.

I'm not sure they are all the same Kyle, when I went to the junk yard to find one I couldn't get any one with the same numbers on it, some were 226, gm266, 226g, it had me confused I ended up leaving with nothing because I thought I needed a gm nvg226.

Removed my resonator since it was recently damaged by "road debris".

Also completely destroyed a CV joint on a half shaft. Limped it home, I guess I'll replace it tomorrow. Which brings me to my next point, it's a good idea to check your boots for damage regularly.

Not today, but this last Saturday and Sunday, Changed the oil, replace air filter, cleaned throttle body, cleaned engine bay (full of salt), cleaned the whole trailblazer inside and outside, replaced vapor canistor vent valve for the third time (thankyou salt), cleaned up some wiring that was bothering me, replaced a couple fuses, new third brake light (from avalanche), topped off powersteering fluid (didn't realized how low it was).... and that's about it I think... definitely more maintenance to be done but that can wait till after school. Pretty productive weekend for me anyways... was nice to be outside in 70 degree weather working on my vehicle rather then be in school at the library studying all day for finals...

Had a misfire for the past few weeks so on Thursday I did a full tune up: spark plugs, replaced coils from a TB with 100k miles, new k&n air filter, fuel filter, topped off fluids. Will do an oil change next week because I have to drop pan to replace front diff (drivers side cv axle seized in diff when previous owner let the fluid run dry). Also found a crack and leak in fuel tank where filler neck goes into the tank. Apparently there's an old recall for that for my Envoy and trying to get the dealership to replace the tank. More updates from diff swap later.

I ordered a roof rack and put it on. Have not put any weight in yet, but the K it will be useful. Little concerned with the factory cross rails, so will add some fabricated ones similar to what I have seen on here....

Busy busy busy...After all this work it is still a bit squeeky so I guess I haven't solved all my problems yet. The truck does have 188k miles so I should be grateful
