Whats that old saying... if you don't get dirty upon entry/exit of your truck... you're doing it wrong!!

Hadn't heard that one before, Mason, but it certainly fits in my case. ;-)

The version I've heard goes something like " A clean truck is the sign of a warped mind with too much time on his hands. "

I have a neighbor that washes his truck off every day!! Yes every day, even if it's raining. When he gets home from work the first thing he does is stretch out the hose and wash his truck off. When I had my white work van he would yell over to me "That tree sap is not good for the paint." or "Looks like it's time for a wash." and the best one was "Why do you treat your van like that".

I finally starting telling him "I keep it the way I like my women, Rode hard and filthy. :raspberry:

I worked with an older guy, back in 04. When the 05 Mustang came out, he ran down and bought a GT, paid a "Dealer Adjusted Markup" total was 38,000 out the door for a 28,000 car.

He stored it indoors, set it up on jack stands, took the tires off, buffed it, everytime he drove it. Until he finally burned through the paint after about 6 months, then bitched to the dealer about "thin paint".

I told him once, it was a nice car, i was a bit jealous, but I said, "Walt, they're gonna poop out millions of these thing's, wtf". I wonder what ole Walt and his Mustang are up to now.

You mean a mustang GT isn't a collectable... who could have known!

Towed the Polaris Crew to the start of Harrison East FSR, then took some tourists for an ATV ride in the deep woods, while telling them the history of Sasquatch (Bigfoot to you Americans) in the area. As always, they loved it. The weather was perfect, too, which always helps. ;-)

First real offroading with my tb today. Slipped off a rock going down a rock hill and sxratched/dented the passenger side right under the doors. Dents give it character though, so its all good. On another note, does anyone somewhere I can buy some sliders?

I have noticed after my last two wheeling trips that my transmission temp where higher than I have seen driving around town with the AC on. Both places had a good amount of mud Nd mud holes. Thinking there must be mud in the AC condenser and radiator. So today with nice weather I took a little bit of the front apart to get at them better.

I had trouble getting the water directly between the fins so I came up with this quickly. I ran the water directly on each side slowly until I could see the stream flow through from the other side.

There was a lot of mud in there, below is what left after all the water wash it out.

I think these are the ones everyone is using. I may order them and have a local shop weld them up for me soon. I don't really need them as most of my off roading will probably be on the beach.

Sweet! Thankyou! I think I just might keep the massive dent/scratch and just put the sliders on over it lol.

Now which length would be the best? It shows three sizes 58", 67", and 78" in length... I measured from the edge of one wheel well to the other and got 78" across, but I feel like It might be too long and rub on my tires... Would the 67" be okay?
