It has been great so far. Definitely worth the cost just to be able to read and reset error codes. The real-time display is great for towing, or if you just want to keep a close eye on what your car is doing. I use it for towing so that i can watch the trans temp.

I used one of the cheapo bluetooth scanners (Soliport ELM 327) and it has worked great on ever car i have tested it on.

Pretty much the reason I bought it was to monitor specifics, been extremely helpful, I also use a cheapy unbranded elm 327 eBay special, but have had a few problems with it not connecting to my EVO 3d occasionally, unplugging the adapter and plugging it back in fixes it. I did have it happen more often than not on my EVO 4g.

Havn't had problems with mine. I'm using a adaptor I got off of Amazon with Torque Free for the time being.

Funny this came up, I just ordered a bluetooth adapter. I went for the one on Amazon for $12 Bucks. I do a lot of towing so I want to keep my eye on Trans temps etc.

I'll report back on how mine works once I get it.

Been using it with the ELM327 for a long time now. I was an early adopter of Torque. It's under constant development and well worth the $5 price tag.

Is it being shipped from China?

I got mine off of Amazon for $14 bucks including shipping and should be here within 2-3 days.

Ha! I was kinda making a joke due to the $12 in shipping.

Mine is coming from NY as well, most likely the same vendor, he just uses the shipping on ebay to raise the price to the same level as amazon.

Unfortunately very few Bluetooth protocols work with Apple products, and almost none for the OBD2 that I've seen so far. I had the same problem trying to get my adapter to work with my iPad.
If anyone's found one that works with Apple products, let me know.

So, I just got mine yesterday and started playing with it this morning on the way to work. Its definitely cool and you have a lot of options for what you want to monitor.

A couple things off the bat, first is that it wont pull trans temp for me, says its not an active sensor so I need to figure that out as thats one of the major reasons I purchased. Second is trying to figure if I can get the kph and Celsius to switch to Mph and Fahrenheit. Damn Brits making me look stupid.
