Ok the information i found for chevy trailblazers police package are, better cooling package ,transmission cooler ,oil cooler and a heavier duty alternator.
This is for the 2 wheel drive as for the 4 wheel drive they receive the same but also have a larger fuel tank.
The officer told me its a 25 gallon compared to stock, the 4.2 is basically the same as civilian as well as suspension.
Most of them in police service are used as work horses like k-9 or other very rarely used as a patrol vehicle.
I got to measure the k-5 blazer and i think it will work for a solid axle conversion and keep it all in the family of blazers,
i have a lot of research to do and will keep posted as i go along or come across any new information.

Yea those are your typical interceptor upgrades, along with bigger brakes as well.

Pretty cool, more R&D...i like it !!

Sorry about no updates lately been real busy at work .
Also the wrecked trail blazer i bought maybe worse than i thought ill know in a day or two .
But i also see that it could be a benefit maybe , i think the right right frame is bent .
Doing what i want to may mean i could build a whole new front frame clip not sure .
i bought a new camera cannon s5is power shot .
ill keep everyone posted.
