Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

'New' look to my front end!!

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

A few weeks ago got into a minor fender bender, (not my fault btw)... busted up my grill and bumper. Also the grille guard put a lil dent in my hood and drivers side fender.

Oh well. No big deal. This isn't a show truck anyway. So I decided to use the insurance check on Mike's bumper and skid once they are in production, but for now I was getting annoyed with the way the bumper was sitting and the grill barely holding on so I made some quick improvements... Well at least in my eyes.

Ripped off the bumper but decided to keep the grill guard, I really like the way it looks too.
Also made the decision to cut the end loops off the bumper and made so quick mounts for my fog light strobes, since I need those for work.

Cool. What did you use as the grille material? How did you mount that? :thumleft:

Did you use the upper mounting brackets? If not, you may get a lot of bounce in your aux lights.

Opps. Forgot to mention, the grill was the one thing I did replace. Got it off ebay, its just black frame with black mesh and no crossbar.

You can kinda see it in this pic, behind the guard.

And yes I'm in the process of making a brace so it doesn't bounce... Thats the one thing that broke on the grille guard was one of the bolts for the upper brace and bent it a bit. So I'll be rigging something up soon.

Thanks..

Yea I get people double-taking all the time and starring. Still need to make an upper support for the grill guard tho, since it bounces a lil bit (can see it with the AUX lighting mounted to it) but haven't had time with work being so hectic.
