Homemade rock sliders

Had some pipe and some time so i made these up, they came out good i think.

Nice! Nothin' says "I'm going to bang on some rocks and make noise" like rock sliders. Were they DOM or normal pipe? Specs?

Pipe was just steel 1-1/4 OD - 1/8 wall tubing. I could have made them a little longer but im happy with em.

So, black pipe is what you used?

Without looking close at the welds, they look pretty good.

They look good. My Trailgear are 1/8" x 1 3/4". How did you make the bends?

Thanks, Not black iron pipe like yr thinking lol. Its structural steel pipe, But I dont know why is was already black.

Thanks, At work i have one of thoes PITA tube benders that goes on yr shop press. Im not a fan but it gets the job done.

Looks better than my paper weights, I mean rock sliders.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.
