if you want the sliders to be tucked up by the body then yes, you most definitely need to do the body lift first.
The same goes with the bumper, if you put on a steel bumper and then do a body lift you now have a 2-3" gap between the bumper and the body.
Think of it this way. Sliders, bumpers, really anything mounted to the frame is at a fixed height.When you put on a body lift you are raising the body up higher off the frame. So all those items that were previously up close to the body that are frame mounted aren't anymore.
