It seems like anyone who paints theirs just does a flat black... So I thought I'd try it in camouflage
This was my first time painting camo and I think it came out pretty damn good..
Once I get the body lift and z71 springs my rear differential should be exposed pretty nicely :drool3:
Not sure how its going to hold up to the heat but we'll see

:Iagree:

Nicely done. No reason not to have some fun with stuff like that. It makes the truck your own. I keep thinking to paint mine, but forget when I am working under it. I did paint my buddy's while he wasnt paying attention and had it off to change the fluid. He was pissed til he put in on and now loves it.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

On Halloween night a few years back I had to run out to Wal-Mart after the trick-or-treating was finished. I as in full Army camo, including face paint. I had a smart ass kid, 19 or 20 I think, walk right into me, knocking me into the display I was looking at. He said the same thing, "Oops, I didn't see you there" while laughing. Me being the nice guy that I am, punched him in his face, knocking him on his back, and said "good thing I could see you." I turned and walked away, and on the way out the door had the manager stop me and tell me that they had it all on tape, and he personally witnessed it, and if the kid wanted to report it that he would provide the tapes and tell the cops that it was self defense on my part.
