Check engine light is now on...

I went through and did some routine maintenance stuff on the TB, oil change, tranny filter and fluid, checked the front and rearend fluid, and fuel filter. I drove the TB about 150 miles since then and while sitting at a light the check engine light came on. I had the code checked and it is the P0442 (Evaporitive emission control system, small leak detected). Has anyone else had this code or problem? I have no clue as to where to even begin looking. Any help with this would be greatly apprecited!!

That's often the gas cap. Not on tight, or a leaky seal. Other than that, there's a few feet of hoses that could be leaky, or the filler neck hose. Let me know if it's not the gas cap.

I checked the fuel cap, not the problem, although after some reading last night I found a diagram of possible problems. I will check out the evap check valve, and the lines to the evap box under the TB and see if any of that is it. I will let ya'll know if I figure it out, any other idea's Mr. Roadie?

I would post the diagram from compnine.com if you didn't already have it. It's almost always the gas cap or a cracked hose, but the purge or vent solenoids are prime suspects, and IIRC not very expensive.
