Fan clutch

Something not working right?

by catrailrider » Sat May 16, 2015 11:45 am

I replaced the fan clutch on my '02 and the fan now stays on all the time. Is there something I can check that maybe I overlooked? I know I plugged the electrical back in at the connector. Maybe it came off?

Sounds like a bad clutch. They typically lock like that when they fail.

That would be my guess, or you didn't get the connector on there latched and it fell off. In which case it would default to locked up and spin like you're describing.

OK thanks. I'll double check the connector. I hope I didn't buy a bad clutch : (
