I need to get me a scangauge, from the feel of the truck it seems to be locking up.

I could and can see it by rpms. If you know for sure when it is locked up and note that rpm at that mph, then you can know in the future if it is in or if it is not locked and you are a couple hundred rpm higher. Scangauge is nice, but there is a cheaper unit that i would buy if I was to replace theScangauge...will go look for the name of it.

Yea, I can also recognize when mine goes into lockup, or lack there of. My TCC is slipping more than it should and unlocks very easily. I'm wondering if this is a partial result of the PCM4Less tune. I have contemplated replacing the converter, but not sure if would do much good. One day, hopefully, I can afford 4.10s. :(

Only problem with the Ultraguage is that it doesn't monitor trans temp

Well my converter is definitely locking up and i dont feel it slipping out at all. i did put my bumper back on for shits and giggles to see what happens and just filled up, so ill see how this tank does.

On another note does anyone have the Ultraguage?

Do you have a check engine light on?

I had been getting bad MPG in the 11-14 range and spent lots of time chasing brake components thinking I had a caliper dragging, turned out to be a bad wheel bearing. It never made any noise while driving, but was noticeably tough to turn by hand when removed from the TB. I replaced the wheel hub assembly and am back in the 15-18 MPG range.

Mileage is gonna get worse in the cold months. Still seems your mileage is a bit low though. I was seeing 11-12 with a body lift, suspension lift, roof rack w/ tire and 32s with 3.42s. 215 miles per tank on the trailblazer. I'd think yours would be slightly better with the gears. But with 4.10s and 33s on the envoy I'm only getting 240 miles outta a tank. So the difference isn't massive.

It may also have something to do with your wheels and/or tires that you could never get to balance and maybe they're just getting worse as time goes on consuming more power to turn em.
