Something not working right?

I hear that the problem only lies with the redtop batteries, and I was planning on a yellowtop anyways... anybody else have information to share?

I've had a red top for around two years now. No issues so far.
Also have a yellow top going on 6 months now. No issues so far.

Regardless of which direction you decide, make sure the retailer and/or company have a decent warranty and remember: batteries are a consumable and don't last forever. I can't comment on Optima's beyond what I've experienced, but I hear way to much 'I heard this or that'.

Optima has the worst warranty out there. 3 year then done. No pro-rated after. Any battery ought to last that long.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.
