Cam/Valve Cover replacement

Something not working right?

by Spot u 3 » Fri Jun 27, 2014 12:16 pm

Gentlemen,

Today is the day I'm replacing the valve cover. This past winter was brutal on my truck. My PCV hose was clogged and there was no ventilation able to escape. 20 min of driving oil blew out the sides of the cam/valve cover. The gasket is shot, and oil is leaking on top of the plugs! Gas mileage is about 11mpg and my truck runs like crap! I will post pics and a detailed DIY. My truck has 153,000 so I'm expecting to get another 100,000 miles! Erikss you wanna come help?????
