stabilitrac/ abs lights on after lift

Something not working right?

by Anthony Hernandez » Mon Mar 31, 2014 1:45 pm

over the weeekend i got my lift in and tires on etc.. since then the fix stabilitrac light and the abs light both are on, i tried to disconnect the ground to erase it but nogo... would lifting the thing put stress on it enough to throw a code? i recently also changed both front hubs and after wards had no issues untill the lift went in.

did you stress and break the internal wires in the rear, if you didn't disconnect them from the fender when you lowered the rear axle to put your springs pacers in? Or stress and break the internal wires in the front ones, when you disconnected one of the ball joints in the front?

Well I did the front hubs, brakes and pads and took the strut out, swapped it and added the new mount... My rear shocks went in after and the abs cables were dry rotted to hell... That explains the abs but not the stabilitrac lights.. And I'm gettin some funky noise going 10-30 mph... Scraping rubbing metallic noise, almost like fresh brakes, but not them
