Yes, I'm reviving an old thread. Has anyone to date replaced their body mounts that are collapsed? I've been searching the forum for the last half hour and haven't been able to come up with a part # and Rock Auto has zilch.

Unless "Body mount" is the incorrect term. :?:

I think they call it a body bushing and just for that upper half is 70$ so right now I have not swapped out that one bushing that is collapsed. I tried looking for it with calling it a mount and got better luck with "body bushing"

$70!!! NO THANK YOU.

I still can't find it on RockAuto with body bushing either. Oh well, if it's that much maybe I'll just go to the junk yard.

I am a cut ally wondering if the energy suspension body mounts might work.

I checked your build sheet. It says that a body lift was in your future plans. Do you have a body lift on now? Did you have a body lift on when you suffered that right rear body damage?

I had to replace one of mine when it loosened up and the lower half fell out. Body cushion (body to frame) is the correct term and you can apparently only get it from GM. The lower half is approximately 40 and the upper half is approximately 70. You'll also find the part numbers have been changed at least once.

Thanks, that's about all that's come up. Energy suspension makes some and makes a universal kit. This isn't high on the priority list, and only two have crushed. But I might measure them to see if there are alternatives for half the cost.

When I did the body lift the other day I was thinking “It would be nice to change out these cushions while I have the body lifted” But I see where the cushions are mostly one piece that inserts down into the frame mount. I also see from the diagram some have different part numbers? I don’t see where Energy Suspension carries anything compatible. Gonna have to put a call into ProThane and see what’s available. If some could message Bo Richie over on TBSSOwners.com to get his input, I don't have permission to message members . I would like to change mine out.

Just happening to be going through this and read this. No I have yet to install nor have I installed a Body Lift.
