Just started after the last off-road trip I had taken. I have a suspension that It might be a water pump or something to do with the serpentine belt. Or water got into something and is making the noise.

sounds like it could be a fan clutch. but definaly something on the serp belt.

Oh, looks like you have it figured out... Whenever I have a weird noise after a recent trip, it's usually that the dead hooker in the trunk isn't actually dead.

Hmmm, so that's why my husband ripped the carpet out and rhino lined the back.....looks like he's got some explaining to do.

Check the wire harness that plugs into the fan clutch. Sometimes people knock it loose or tear a wire when working down in the engine bay.
