Agreed. I'd just feel better having a tracking number. I have yet to have a negative experience on Ebay...but there's always a first time.

WOW! Can't believe I missed that!

Domestic handling time
Will usually ship within 10 business days of receiving cleared payment.

UGH!!! Looks like I have to KEEP waiting. I'd just like to get a response to one of my emails... would be nice.

Well, I have time to get my new lightbar ready. New mounting method has been decided and tested. Now time to prep/paint the bar... Might also get the wiring out of the way.

I'm taking it as a lesson in patience. I'm a "gotta have it now" type of person.

That's what I thought! My rear shocks were said to have shipped on Tues from PA, and they still aren't here. But my spacers shipped from Fl on Monday and got here yesterday. I could have picked them up and spent the same in gas as I did on shipping.

Well, still no response from the seller, and still no lights. I've sent a final email stating that if I do not hear back from him by end of day tomorrow, that I will be reporting him.

This sucks....

Agreed... But according to the shipping details in the question area on eBay, it says expected delivery April 21-28.

I don't know why it would take this long, guy must be a lazy f@#k. But when looking at his feedback its all 'quick shipping' etc..

So I guess I'll have to wait up to another week to get these. Just want to get them on already.

this is exactly why I do not use EBAY. I would rather pay a few extra bucks and get it right when I want it, with a damn tracking # and someone who answers when I call.

This is the first time I've had delays like this from eBay in the 9 years I've used it. I'll keep using it if there is a deal like this. Should it be an issue, I'll report it to eBay and PayPal and I'll have my money back.... I will never use eBay for something that I NEED within a certain amount of time... just things that I'd like to have.

Like Mario just said, its usually not a problem. Just I guess certain sellers, so I'll obviously wont buy from him again. It is shitty that its taking this long but with due respect to the seller its listed as taking this long. It doesn't really make sense but I can wait it out since I don't need the lights. I just had to hop on this deal.

I can say tho, other than this one time, I've had some awesome deals. Just got a complete Whelen strobe kit for $80 shipped. Can't beat that anywhere. And I got it 2 days after I won. Just all depends if the seller is a d-bag and then eBay can suck.

Its nice to know you have had some good experiences with ebay. I on the other hand have not and always have a problem getting tracking #'s or my items on time.

Yeah, if this blows up I'll be pretty disappointed. My first bad experience buying on Ebay in the decade Ive had my acct.

In fairness, with the info he gave he has till the 28th for them to show up. I hit the button, I signed up for it.

Agreed. I'm giving him until the end of the week. His listing said shipping would take 11-16 business days. He updated the paypal transaction as shipped on 4/7. 16 business days is the 29th... He has until the 30th to get them to me...

Wow, I have done alot of business on Ebay, and never had these problems. It is looking like you both got burned by an ebay seller. I would suggest you start your file now to make sure that he doesnt get away with stealing money from you.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.

The nice thing is that there is Buyer Protection on these. Ebay owns Paypal also. If it comes to it Ebay will happily refund your money up front and extract it from them later. My wife went through this once on her Ebay acct.

Sorry , I just had to jump in here. EBAY does NOT own paypal. They are individual entities. In fact i know this because a movie I did was funded by the owner of Paypal...nice guy.

I hope those programs they have in place to keep you from getting robbed actually work, for your sake. It seems that the automotive parts sellers are the worst for this.

They do own Paypal... but not from conception. Ebay purchased Paypal.
