Hey guys and gals,

I'm selling my G80 locker and 3.73 gears for Front and Rear. Everything was in perfect shape when removed... just upgraded to 4.56 and Detroit Locker.

I'll sell the full package for $250 + shipping.

I'm in Howell, MI if anyone wants to do local pickup.

Pics coming soon!

Very Very intrigued!! So how hard of a job will it be? I see front diff you have to move engine a little. How about back?

Might as well calculate shipping to Jacksonville, FL 32218

The front is the worst, honestly just save time and remove ALL accessories to the engine it makes a perfect Hole for you... up and out... my biggest issue was separating the diff from the oil pan, shoot it for 3 days with "break free" brand clp found in walmart in the fun cleaning section and it should come offf..

Thanks Great info. So out the top may be easier after taking off PCM and the rest in area. Yeah I bet my diff sticks to pan too. My disconnect did and broke off in cavity.

Yeah, I got the vehicle history and found it was from there. It sees salt at the beach here, but I pressure wash after each visit. Like you said the lines may be an issue in other post, bet your right too cause those lines show rust.

Yeah pulling the front diff is tricky. I dropped the steering rack and pulled the oil pan to get mine out, but that was because I had other engine work planned. The guy at the ring and pinion shop said it can be done with the pan in if you unbolt the engine mount, swing the engine up on the pass side, and cut a small notch out of the corner of the lower control arm alignment plate. Then it will fall out of the bottom.

I didn't have a problem with the diff or disconnect sticking to the pan on mine, but I know when I parted out the '03 my buddy bought the motor with the diff STILL ATTACHED!! Couldn't get the damn thing off and quit trying :P

I would soak it for a few days for sure!
The rear axle removal is a piece of cake. All bolts are very easy to get to.

I have to see what the weight is on everything and I'll calculate shipping.

Yeah that would have been nice... but having a V8 is not all sunshine and unicorn farts!! You can barely get a hand between the engine and strut tower. It took me 2 solid days just to replace the A/C compressor this summer

Still got them? To clarify, that's the EXT set, right? so 8.6" rear? Sounds like it might be a good donor set for me to get regeared and upgrade my swb diffs...

I do, but I owe them to bljis123 first. It is indeed from my EXT 8.6" rear.

bljis123 - shipping to FL would be about $40. Let us know if you are interested.

Sorry for the long wait - been a busy holiday break!

Hey, did you throw up on ebay? Got some capital now.

Only thing I am worried about is the front diff gears. Don't you have to have a shop set the gears in the diff will special tools and knowledge? IIRC the front is just gears and not whole diff.

Actually I threw it up on Craigslist and sold it all a couple days ago:( For information, it was just the gears for the front and yes you would have to set up both the front and rear. Specialty tools I've heard may or may not be required... I just left it to the pro's for mine.
