At the risk of straying off topic, I've said many times that wheeling is not for the faint of heart or shallow of pocket. If you don't have a liquid $500+ for an extraction and repair, you are putting your daily driver at high risk and that may affect people's jobs.

On the trail, there are many points where a split-second decision might be necessary to save your or someone else's life or avoid serious injury. If saving the VEHICLE or MONEY intrudes on making the right decision to avoid serious HUMAN injury, then that person might not be the safest trail ride participant. Like if you're in a group on a steep descent, and the brakes fail on the truck behind you on a narrow shelf road. You might have to absorb the impact, and then steer YOUR vehicle into an upslope obstacle like a tree, to avoid a 4000 foot dropoff on the lower side for both of you. Sort out the money later.

Anybody who really needs to save $50 on a truck mod should look farther down the road and see if they're really ready for the risk and rewards of offroading. The mission of this site is offroading in the serious sense, not simply driving on flat and easy, but unpaved, surfaces. There are other sites to discuss lifts meant for urban settings.

Sorry for the essay, now back to the subject of THIS thread - which is GIVING AWAY free stuff for repurposing.

Not trying to be mean, and don't take this the wrong way, but my advice if you don't have a spare cash reserve for any potential repairs or maintenance associated with lifting and offroading would be to not lift until you do. Save yourself the decreased mileage and increased wear and tear that you'll get with a lift and wait until after you have some spare cash.

That said, if I had a spare lift, I'd be more than happy to send it your way, but I already promised my old front lift to big ridge. Sorry.

Thanks Roadie, I didn't want to say it so I just sarcastically asked for the most ridiculous things I could to try and make a point... It was missed...
