I love it when companies at least act they care...BDS from what I can tell is one of those good companies, and because of that, they will continue to receive my support and business.

And again...thanks a lot everybody who has been helping along my noob journey!

I am shocked on an on going basis, at the crapy work and products people put their name on. I mean how can you put your name on something you know is a piece of shit???? Especially in the custom automotive fab world.

I dont build anything I wouldnt trust anyone of my family members to be around or use.

I build some extremely complicated and dangerous stuff for feature films. But it has to work, work right, and the first time with no injuries. END OF STORY.

If you cant deliver that, you will be let go instantly and never work again.

I guess some of us just hold our selfs to a higher standard.

Sorry to misdirect anybody from my pictures. I was involved in testing the proposed shock cylinder for valving and functionality with my normal cargo weight and Z71 springs, along with other BDS test resources with GMT360s. I just didn't know the mounting scheme was changed later. The cylinder that ended up being specified is also spec'ed by BDS for other offroad vehicles including a Land Cruiser, IIRC. A fine lineage.

Your question isn't really clear. Maybe you missed a word? Please make it a habit to proof-read your posts.

Wow!!! my bad dude! That is totally unclear...I think I asked that question last night on the Ambien...that stuff messes me up!

I meant to ask, did I need to fully extend the shock before installing it?

I've never head of that being a requirement prior to installation... I don't see any reason that it'd need to be.
