Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Installation tricks and stuff

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

One general question.

The BDS guide says to apply loctite on some bolts, and some people suggest loctite on the wheel spacers.

Language thing. Is Loctite generic for super glue or for threadlocker?

(Loctite is not generic for anything in Spanish)

it's brand-name threadlocker.

Loc-tite Blue is what is recommended for anything you'll ever need to unscrew (ie wheel spacers).

Red needs to be heated up to unscrew it, so usually only recommended for permanent-ish applications.

Ok it is the blue one then. I knew red was somewhat permanent, not sure to what extent.

Does blue simply require extra effort when unscrewing things? or does it require a chemical or something?
