Ha yeah. My buddy who was riding with me actually came up with the craziest idea I ever heard to prevent those...

Mount two power pruner poles to the car, one on each side, with the chainsaw bit running perpendicular to the ground and the poles sticking slightly in front of the bumper... fire 'em up and pray they don't come unattached :P

That's an idea that's been discussed over beers at an ExPo meet, but isn't quite Treading Lightly. ;) Even the brush deserves a chance. :shoot:

Cool, broseph. But admit it, you cringed just a little every time you heard a branch scrape.... I did when they hit my mirrors. Took a while to get them all smoothed and painted correctly :wallbash:

eh, I've put trail patina on my vehicles before... and there's a reason I tucked in the mirrors and took off the antenna... Plus, I have the generic black mirrors... no paint matching here. I figure I'll go with the tan/black theme they have going on the inside. It was the branches scraping the doors that got my hairs on end.

You could always do something for the black and tan theme. Ask mario for his photoshopped pic, if he'll give it to ya....would look pretty slick on your truck, plus be very functional :flex dirty:

Edited as to not give away too much...Sorry Mario!

Something I've been kicking around for a little while... only a couple of people have even heard about it until now. If it happens, I will most definitely be posting LOTS of pics!
