Brake pads?

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

Just curious as to which front brake pads I should get. I'm not replacing my rotors this time I have 42000 miles on my tb and the rotors are still in good shape. I was looking at EBC,maybe even HAWKS.

I have the Posi-Quiet Ceramic pads all around and love them. Worry about pads first, IIRC your rotors werent terrible. Dont spend the money yet when you dont have to.

On my last car I used Hawk HPS pads, and hated them... mad brake dust and they weren't that good. Same story with the EBC greenstuff and they were even worse on the brake dust. I've loved, loved, loved the performance of my Akebono ProACT pads on my last car, and won't hesitate to get those for my TB when the time comes. Anything designed to be quiet is usually going to compromise braking ability or dust production, and is therefore off of my list.


In other words, I'd stick with ceramic pads:
