It looks like he is selling knock off smaxx kits or something. In fact I believe that in one of those photos is an smaxx spacer.

The front lifts have Smaxx stickers and it states they are "Suspension Maxx" brand.

(When did Smaxx switch to aluminum spacers instead of the plastic ones?)

The rear lifts apparently are McBay brand... but it's only because we share the rear perch design with all of the following vehicles:

They must be a distributor. I'll ask Larry about the change to aluminum.

Larry says it's all normal:

Mcbay is marketing some of our products and they are the genuine SuspensionMAXX products and pricing should be close to ours
We have grown into our product line and as the heavier trucks required cast aluminum we are now casting all our products in aluminum so it was a natural to convert the trailblazer as well

But mark's is solid, theirs is cored out. :?

Are these things investment cast? or sand cast? I kinda assume it's just sand cast.

No they are not junk, They will most likely work just fine, however the company use to make those product from what I would call questionable material meaning not made of any type of metal I am referring to the spacers. So with that being said they also copied a differant persons spacers, most of the guys on here feel the same they would rather get a great product from the original maker then a cheap product from a copy company.

Get spacers from Mark on the OS. I have a set of SMaxx spacers and a set of Mark's. They are essentially the same only Mark's are a fraction of the cost.

:Iagree: with all of the above.

Marks parts are all over my truck and have taken a huge beating. They are holding up wonderfully and I recommend them to everyone.
