Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

UCA's

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

Hey all, this is my first post. I am in the process of lifting my blazer, just by putting in the Bilstein shocks and struts, the Moog springs 81114 in front and the z71 in back. It seems like that is what everyone suggests. I want some lift but not a lot. What I can't seem to find on here is whether or not to flip the UCA's? Are there positives or negatives for it? Do I need to do it or will I have issues down the road?? Oh and I'm putting in some 1.5 inch wheel spacers. I'm new to all this so please bear with me... Thanks a lot

You know the 2nd sticky, right here in Lifts/Suspension? Might want to give that a read.

Should I replace my CV boots too while it's torn apart? They don't look bad. I was reading they tend to leak after the lift.

You're better off replacing the whole CV than trying to replace boots. Not worth it IMO.

Double clamp the boots when you lift, as they tend to pop off and leak if you don't. I read that on this forum before lifting mine, added large hose clamps with the lift, and had no problems in the 3 years that I had it with the lift.
