i need to purchase the parts before we get new tires In November which is the timeline my dad gave me.
So what is the safest and heapest way to lift the truck and fit 31s or hopefully 32s and try to keep it under 225 dollars

Your best bet for lift is the MarkMC 3" lift/level (see link below). But you are still limited in tire height by the upper ball joint. 30.5" is the max diameter unless you get an aftermarket wheel with enough offset to push the tire outside the ball joint. The other route is to buy MarkMC's wheel spacers to use the stock wheels, or his wheel adapters to get to the GM Full Size (Silverado/Sierra/etc.) bolt pattern and get new wheels (MANY more options with this bolt pattern if you decide to go with new wheels).

Patience... save up and do it right.
Lifting accelerates wear on other parts. There is no inexpensive way to do it.

The LEAST expensive way...patience and watch the classified section here. You'll see parts come up for sale from time to time.

I've got Mark's 3" front lift for sale w/ struts/springs/etc....basically just removing the whole strut assembly off of my wrecked TB. And I've got 3 adapters...fourth wheel has never been found. Maybe you can get Mark to sell you one adapter pretty reasonably.

I think you can use Z71 springs in the rear to get needed lift (one of my 3" lift spacers is MIA also). You may be able to get in under your price limit that way.

This, don't cheap out. If you cannot afford it then don't do it. This isn't a cheap hobby, trying to do it too fast on a tight budget is a recipe for disaster.

Thanks guys for the advice I will keep saving and trying to find SAFE ways to upgrade the trailblazer on a budget. And then also what upgrade would you guys recommend first.
And the reason I am concerned with price is this is a 15 year olds budget.

Protection... No, not that kind of protection, though it's not a bad idea to keep some of that around either. But, Skid plates, bumpers and rock sliders are good investments you can use stock and after you can afford to keep a lift under the Trailblazer.

That's where I'd start.

We already have skids we investeted in those first
I may just do the 2 inch lift and do 30.5s and no spacers

I used Mark's spacers and I am running 255/70/17 General AT2 (31.1") tires without any rubbing on stock set up and moved my ground clearance to 9". You can get the spacers for under $250 to fit the factory rims. I blew out both front tires one weekend in Oklahoma and had to purchase tires before I wanted or was ready, my goal is 33's or 34's. As said by others take your time and do it right or it will cost more in the end.
