Is a UCA filp on a 2" lift needed

Hey everyone

I'm going to install my 2" rough country this weekend and wanted to know if flipping the UCA was needed and what I could expect if I did or didn't

I've read through the many pages on the UCA thread but I seem to get lost in all the info and it's a bit dated now

UCA flip is never really "needed". You can run them in stock orientation if you choose, however it is strongly recommended after any amount of lift to help correct some of the upper ball joint angle.

to piggyback off what these fine gentlemen said.
It's a free upgrade to non-lazy bastards. No realignment needed (for UCA flip. Lift WILL need a new alignment)

Eeesh, doing it to a stock truck is not an upgrade.

I believe flipping the UCAs alone should get an alignment - but I didn't either time I flipped my UCAs or put the custom ones in, so who knows. I don't even follow my own advice on that one. If the tires start wearing funny, then get an alignment - otherwise you're fine.
