Hi.
I have trailblazer 2006 Lt.
I mad 2" lift by springs and shocks, and its not enough for me.I tried to do another lift of 2" by spacer and then it created me aproblem in the bell joints and also in the wheels balance.i tried to turn over the up control arms according to the forums here and that's not good enough, there is still problem in the balance wheels.
I though I would replace the down control arms to abigger size, anyone tried this ???? if so it gave him asolution to the lift ?? I prefer not use body lift Because I want to pick up all the vehicle.
Another thing I order wheels spacer but they didn't fit good on the weel the namber on the spacer is 6-5/6-135
I order awrong one ????
I hope my English okay, I'm from Israel and we do not have a lot of cars Triilbliizr, I was very happy when I found you
thanks you very much.

It is good enough to understand. Not perfect, but good enough.

3" is all we can really do before we bind at the CV / Axle / Half Shaft joint, so even if you change the control arms, if you use the same CV / Axle, you will still have problems.

Thanks Mike.
I understand that 3" maximum level it can be done?
I see in your on Facebook vehicles that seem higher than 3".

Some of use utilize stiffer springs for a little extra lift (less than 1"). Also some have additional 3" bodylifts.

We are limited to a 3" body lift due to bind in the steering (you need the provided steering extension in the kit) As Mike said, we are limited to 3" in the suspension as well. Approximately 6" is the most lift we can go without many large custom parts.

That being said can you put a 2 inch body lift and a 2 inch suspensions lift without having to add or subtract anything except the lift itself?

I'm not really clear on your question.

But, I'll take a shot. You want to know can you run a 2" bodylift in conjunction with your current 2" suspension? Yes, no problem, except, as far as I know, only Mark Mc makes a body lift, and it's 3" lol. I don't think I'd go to all the effort to cut all his spacer's 1" shorter lol.

No that would be tedious lol. Thanks for the answer. I'm not sure I could do any steering work thats why I ask. I am new to Mods, and the suspension spacers where hard for me so steering stuff sounds not fun lol. I do like the idea of adding another three inches though.

The only steering work is to unbolt and bolt in the extension. One of simplest portions of body lift.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

I've had to pry them apart to get them started. I've had to hold the shaft and tap them on. I've also had boots burn on V8 headers. I'm planning to try to zip tie the rubber to reduce diameter to increase distance from my header this time.
