Just went to a local automotive shop to get an estimate on putting in my suspension lift they quoted me 550 free installation I think that's a little pricey Please let me know your thoughts and if this is a fair price I can do the work myself I just don't know if I have a time

That sounds pricey to me.. I got a 3" lift and level for 100 bucks on eBay, granted it is Chinese as all hell but I'm a poor college kid at the moment haha.

I paid $536 for mine. They charged me by the hour though. But I also had them install my transmisson oil cooler. So less than $536. Sounds pretty pricey though. Did they include an alignment with it? Also is it just the lift kit? I had shocks, struts, springs, the lift, and a free alingment when I got mine.

$550 Sounds a little steep but then again where are you located and who is doing the lift?

Mine ended up being about $500 for the lift, springs, struts, and fender trimming. Then I had to take it to another shop for the alignment.
