Alright so somehow I'm back to 35 1/4" in my front lift where it was 37...you guys think my springs have have settled that much? they are original... :facepalm:

I think it is completely possible.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

37 was unusually high for stock springs. I think you probably just seated them in,and this will be your height.

well I'll tell you guys I've got Belltech street performance struts that are adjustable from -2" to +2" I've got it set at +1 so I may go ahead and move it to +2 and see what it gets me...I'm sitting right at 37 1/2" in the rear. If it's still way off then I'll go back to trailblazer springs instead of Z71's...which would be much less of a pain then taking apart the strut assemblies...again...

The stock suspension seems to sag a good bit once its lifted for a little while. I think the springs are possibly yielding when they get over-compressed offroad, especially the weaker stock springs. Longer bump stops could help this, but no lift suppliers seem to supply front bump stop extensions.

Do you think it could sag even farther? I've already lost 2"...I will go ahead and replace the front springs because there factory and I'll adjust the height to +2

Anything can happen, but I doubt it. These guys have been doing some pretty extreme off-roading for years. Going far beyond what any pencil-pushing engineer at GM would have ever thought these rigs were capable of. If there were major problems with the springs, they'd know it.

I've got the softer springs, with 3" lift kit up front, and a "leveling kit" in the rear, I rode around Gasser style for the first two weeks. It honestly looked like my rear shocks were blown compared to my fronts. I even removed the top spacer block so it wouldn't look so bad. My springs sagged back down after a couple of weeks and it finally looks like it's sitting right (with a slight rake to the rear). I may even put my top spacer block back in.
Bravada G80 3.73 converted to selectable 4wd.

Thanks guys for all the responses! I'm going to leave the rear alone and adjust the front to +2" of course it will probably be higher than 37" but I know it will settle back down to around 36"

Well in order to raise it to +2 it has spacers that go underneath the spring perch so I don't know if uncompressing the spring will make it resettle or not

The continuing sag will all depend on how you use it. If you cycle your suspension to full compression often, we've seen guys that get really bad sag, worse than yours. If you just drive it on the road, you'll be fine and I'm surprised it sagged as much as it did.

I'd replace the springs with some 87s. You'll be happier in the long run, I really liked the ride better than the mushy stock spring feel.

yeah the front springs are the only thing I haven't replace in my setup yet so they defiantly will be a weak point as for off-road it's my daily driver so it will live mostly on pavement and go on trips every once and awhile when I get a day off or two.
