Kingbird, Mason specifically mentioned the slipped/split CV boot with pictures... from the pictures it looks like it slipped off the tripot side of CV axle, which is very common. That was in addition to the destroyed bearings and seals.
The destruction of diff/disconnect seals and bearings is also very common and is extremely well documented here. As Mason apparently discovered with a quick search. The quick destruction seems to be related to additional stress on an already well worn component. After replaced they last reasonably well.
All the problems mentioned are common and easily solved as long as you read a lil bit. We've documented the vast majority of lift related issues and the solutions here. As also documented, the good ole AWD sleeve helps distribute the stress on the bearings.
