BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

For $25, the additional shim in the front is a tremendous deal for the 3/4" of lift you get! I'm very happy with the result.

Lookin' good :ugeek:

I'm digging the extra bit of lift up front, too. Have you noticed anything different in the handling while on street or offroading (doubtful, but curious)?

Funny you should say... I can swear that it handles a little firmer and better on highway as well as offroad... but I doubt that the spacers actually do anything to alter the ride at all...

I never asked how much of a pain in the ass they were to install. We both know mine were no treat.

I disconnected the upper ball joints as well as the end links...

My end links came out easy as hell... no cutting, grinding, anything...

As for putting the ball joints back in... I got stuck at the same point you did, but I figured the "put it on the ground and let the truck's weight push the arms down enough" tactic worked very well...

I was actually surprised at how easy it was to get them on...

HAHA... not like I planned it that way. I didn't think I would have to take the end links off to get the assembly back in place. Luckily, they came off and went back on without issue. Very odd for 6 year old end links that I believe were never removed...

May I ask what tires and rims those are? Also may i have the sizes. I am looking into a trailblazer and i am trying to figure out what lift, tires, etc i want. Also (sorry for all the questions) what light bar on top is that? I have been looking all over the internet but have not found a good trailblazer accessories website. Thanks.

Ummmm... Before someone else finds this, you might want to do some searching and lurking first, all the answers are here and easy to get. Look at his build thread and it will tell you everything he's done... Look at everyone's build threads to get an idea of what we've done. Now once you've looked and read up for a couple hours then formulate what you want to do, and come to us with it. There are alot of members that don't take kindly to newbs who ask questions that you can get the answer to all over this site, so this is just some friendly advice.

Welcome to the forum Carrieron.

A great way to check someone's mods out is by finding their build thread. Their build thread should have all of their modifications posted. Gordinho does not have a body lift.

Also, since you're new, why don't you go ahead and familiarize yourself with our site rules: http://www.offroadtb.com/about/site-rules

Glad to have you! :safari:
