What year did our platform switch from 14 -> 16mm? I'm actively ordering a bunch of parts today and figured I'd scope out some 16mm to either keep on hand or upgrade if I'm bored.

So, anyone have part numbers or can tell me which year switched to 16mm (yes, I'm being lazy cause I know someone has the answers waiting in their finger tips) :poke: :finger: :finger:

I think ONLY 2002 had the hateful wimpy 14mm. But it could have been a midyear change in the 2003 model year.

Anyway, I bought THE tool from Harbor Fright for changing them out. No more trail-side ViseGrip drama. Wonderful tool! We can do yours in minutes with this. Yes, I know I owe the site a thread on it.

fancy :awesome:

So any later year will be 16mm, cool. It's amazing my 14's have survived this long with both of your inner's on the mend. Hmm, must be the privilege of running second and getting the easier trail line :raspberry: :fro: :gimp:

Yeah, I'm softening up those rocks for you. :angry whip:

Not any chance it's a thousand more miles of trails? You only started coming with me on Sierra Trek III. :camping:
