SMAXX - Lift Block Question

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

Hello
This is Carlocote from South America
Very soon a lot of off road pics in my country.... :flex dirty:
I saw this friend had installed the rear 2" or 2-1/2" in. lifting block in the lower side of the spring, It is safe? I remember when I install mine :mechanic: there is a guide to "sit" the spring in only one position, so I install my blocks in the upper side .
What can any of you say to me?

Saludos desde Venezuela :salut:

Good day Carlocote. There are different designs. Some blocks (Smaxx) need to be mounted to the bottom side of the spring - on the axle side. Other blocks, like the BDS block, need to be mounted on the top.

Come on James...Help him out and tell him he just needs to use the Z71 Springs in the rear. 2 inch lift with no blocks to worry about.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

Yea really james..

Yes its safe, we basically all run with this setup. Take a look around our site and search through everything. Alot of questions are already answered for you, including how to properly install these lift blocks.

Are you the first from South America? I think you aree!! :friday:

I'll pour fuel on this fire as well:

I run top spacers, Z71 springs, AND bottom spacers. I know I'm not the only one who does either.

Bill (Roadie) runs something similar I think but with airbags as well.

He's the first TBer from SOAM. Although technically I was the first one from Latin America (and if you consider anything south of the Rio Bravo to be South America then I was too).

This is an aggressive post. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate a post of this quality and depth.
