IN PROGRESS: LIFTING. Negative rake, w00t!

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

So after getting all the parts, we started lifting it on Thursday afternoon, however, we only did the front passenger side, as we ran out of time (I said 2-3 hours per side for the front, but took more), mostly due to the difficulties we had removing the old shock from the assembly and then mounting the assembly to the strut tower (until we decided to drill -around 10PM).

Then yesterday I hoped to do everything, but due to issues with compressing the spring, it took longer.

Hopefully we can lift the rear today, I'd say about 5 hours should be fine, as the rears should be easier, and everything is done directly to the vehicle.

Also, you may notice that I'm currently removing the pinstriping.

Oh yeah, I threw in some neons while the tires were off.

j/k it's just an effect of the lights and the color balance I used. No way I'd waste my money buying those

If you did roll with neons, the mockage would be heard all the way to Kuwait. :coffee2:

However, if you called them "rock lights" you might get away with it. :poke:

Not the idea I had in mind. I saw one of the PRC Airport Ops trucks the other day (Ford Exploder), and they mounted 2 Hella lights on the roof rack side rails and they're pointing at an angle down and sideways, and that gave me an idea. Plus another 2 mounted at a later angle on the brushguard and 2 forward facing.

My lighting plan is similar. Two of my 4 Hellas on my lightbar are slanted downwards as "cornering" lights. The other two shine straight ahead and my bumper lights are canted outwards a bit as well. I plan to put a 55W on each side and a couple in the rear soon.
