Generic GM Spring Rate Question

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

Greetings all,

Calling on the engineers here or those familiar with internal GM spring rate terminology. While not a gmt360, information does not exist on the gmt31xx related forms and I figure the knowledge you all hold over here may help.

Below is a chart with different spring ratings and associated PN's for said springs. I understand the spring rating component but am curious as to what the "check LOAD" category may be. It must be significant in a sense to warrant multiple PN's across a common spring rating, but I am not sure what it references. Possibly the length of the spring? Is it a common terminology that is used in spring engineering that my google skills have failed to pick up?

Thank you and cheers,
Wahugg
