Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Now it's time to order Tires!

Need new shoes? This is the place to discuss.

Sorry, I'm talking about 255/85/16... I have the LS, and really don't have any desire to go to 17" wheels.

And Randy, I'd love to post pics of a tire on one of our vehicles, however I have never encountered another lifted/offroaded TB out here, and I won't need new tires for some time. I should have gone with them when I got the Coopers, but just didn't know if I wanted 33's at the time. Maybe Bill can try them out for us when he switches tires? I don't know about 265-75-17's... for the reasons mentioned above... they should be fine, but I think they're... 32's right? Just checked... 32.5" and a 255/85/16 works out to 33.1" on most tires, in addition to having more sidewall.

My justification for saying that 255/85/16 might be the best tire for our vehicles (in an offroad tire) is that it is somewhat skinny for fuel mileage, has a lot of sidewall for flex when aired down, and comes out to a 33" tire, which has been discussed frequently as the largest practical tire for offroading without a SAS.

Looks nice, I like that tire size... you said it was 255/85/16?

What's the red thing hanging below your bumper? Did you paint your radiator?
