If they are hub-centric aka they have a lip the wheel sits on, I had to sand mine lightly to make them slide in and out easier.

6x5/6x135 is not a spacer, but an adapter to a Ford lug pattern
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

Could I run a 6x5.5 spacer on stock rims while I wait for new rims? Need front tire asap and would rather buy tires once.

Um.. the stock wheels are 6x5 bolt pattern, so no you can't put them on a 6x5.5 adapter.

Thats why I wanted to make sure. Was told 5.5 was just the length of the bolt.

Yeah, first number is the number of studs and second number is the spacing apart.
