Question about fitting 265/70/17 tires

Need new shoes? This is the place to discuss.

What spacer do I need without rubbing? The stickied thread about tire and lift size says I need a spacer and a 2" lift and won't need to trim anything, but I don't want huge spacers.

1.5" is the standard size you'll see. It allows the spacer to clear the stock lugs without having to grind them.

OK I'm planning getting those, MarkMC's 2.5" leveling kit and some STT Pros! Thanks :flex dirty:

I've got the STT Pro's with the spacers and lift, but they are 255/75/17. Same diameter, but 10mm narrower. They have been great so far! Pretty quiet on the road for a mud tire! Here's the first real test... viewtopic.php?f=62&t=6376 Sure I got stuck, but on first pass I got an entire EXT into 3 feet of snow :P

They aren't quiet in a 37x13.5x17. I can hear them in the cab over my exhaust and I've got a glass pack on. At lower speeds however they are quiet..... I personally think they could be just a tad louder.
