Balancing Beads?

Need new shoes? This is the place to discuss.

I think the site said that as long as the beads aren't stuck in the patch when you are patching it, then they'll work fine... and I'd assume if that was true, then all you'd need to do in the event of a puncture would be to add some beads back into the tire.

Ya your right.
And make sure the glue is set and not sticky before replacing the beads.

Haha probably would...if it bonded to the beads it could probably make the tire go out of balance since the beads would bounce more due to an oblong shape.

I know a place that said if they knew you had fix a flat in the tire, they would do nothing with it. If they didnt know and you had fix a flat when they took the tire off, They charged you $25 extra for clean up. That stuff makes a mess. I would never use it unless I truly had to to get home.

Fix a Flat has got me home 2 different times from deep in the woods, one time I had to use it on the spare tire!! I don't recommend using it unless you have to , But I WOULDN'T go out without an industrial can of it!!

I do have everything in there in the truck at all times, but I dont have the fancy case. Still, keeping some fixaflat for the hole you cant find is still a good idea.

But now that you showed it to me, I think I need the case. :finger:

That is the kit to have!! I now have one in my truck, got one just before my trip down south. I figure since I have that now, I probably won't ever need it!

When did you get it from us?? I don't have you in the system.. Although I talk to so many people about stuff like this everyday, I probably sold it to you myself and just can't remember :wallbash: :shoot:

Maybe you go by other names too, I don't know but as far as the State of Maryland is concerned they know you as James Downing (Jimmy in one listing). I got a lot more info on you but anyone who wants it will cost them.
