Need new shoes? This is the place to discuss.

I have a trans cooler from an older car that i plan on installing soon. I see youre running 16x8 w/ a 4.5 backspacing, as far as flexing goes do you have any issue?

I run 17x9s. Have ran 15,16,17,20s.

I cut most of inner fender out and part of outer fender and had a body lift when i went to 33s(305-65-17 on 17x9 with 4.5 BS). I had no issues once all that was done.

I know you plan to move to bigger tires anyway, but I was able to get my stock Trailblazer everywhere I pointed it in the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreational Area last week on factory-size ATs... 11.5psi

I plan to run 265/70-17 ASAP, but that's more for clearance than surface area

Agreed. How else are you going to know if your extraction and recovery equipment is going to work if you haven't tried it out?

HiLifts ESPECIALLY need to be practiced with. They can be VERY, VERY DANGEROUS if you don't know how they work, and what can go wrong with a ratcheting handle if you lose control of it.

:Iagree: I've never owned a HiLift but any of us who grew up using the good old stock bumper jacks should remember what that's like getting whacked by one of them!!

One of my coworkers knocked himself out with one his first day at our FOB... earned himself a flight back to town and hasn't been back out to the FOB since  screw those stupid things; when they work, they're great, but man can they be a nuisance
