Going tomorrow to pick up my new tires at Discount. 147/tire. Lowest price I found on 285/75R16 tires. Also found some good reviews on the tires. Let me know what you guys think.

I just got those a little over a week ago because I had a treadright separate. I have them in 265/70/17 and have liked them so far. Nice on pavement and been good in the snow.

I have heard good and bad on those tires. There was a user on here before that said that in the mud they were marginally better than having mud and snow tires on her TB. I have heard a lot of good things on the Cooper AT 3, which will probably be my next tires. Presently I have Yokohama Geolandar AT/S on mine and they have done a fairly good job for me considering the sand, mud, rocks and snow that I have been in.

So I guess you mileage may vary depending on the terrain they are used in.

Well when I first put the suspension lift on I bought 5 265/75R16 Mickey Thompson STZ but o had them for a week. Great looking tire but a guy wanted to trade me his bfg M/T plus $200 for me so I said why not. Now I have the body lift on to so I want bigger tires.

But a buddy runs them on his Silverado and I've had to pull him out a few times this winter. They do good in rain, sand, mud, dirt and snow. But seems they don't like slush and hate ice.

Central Illinois (Peoria presently) but will be moving back up to the suburbs this summer thankfully. I'll be in the Grayslake area then. The best part is having a new teaching job lined up and approved by the district board 8 months before school begins.
