I'm definitely going with 1.5" spacers on my ride. I did a search and found a dozen different manufacturers. What comanies have you guys had luck with? Also who has the best price?

When I did my homework, price was no longer my concern. I heard of studs pulling through, adapters cracking in half, ect. The brand that seems to have the happiest customers is Theliftmeister.com. I do like mine. A lot.

The safest bet is to go with the ones you get from member MarkMc at http://theliftmeister.com/public_html/t ... page4.html

They are quality spacers at a fair price. You might be able to find a better price on eBay but you don't always know what you are getting and Mark is great to work with and answer any questions you might have.

Another suggestion to go with mark, they're hub centric and nobody has problems with studs spinning.

This is awesome! Thanks guys! I truly thought this was going to be a long drawn out process of modifying my TB. At these prices it will not take long. I really appreciate the help. I'm going with his spacers and a 3" suspension lift!

If you think you may want to change wheels at any point... You should consider the wheel adapters. Our bolt pattern was only used on our platform. NOT COMMON He has adapters that convert us to the standard 1/2 ton bolt pattern.

This is good advice. I originally bought the spacers and then ended up getting adapters and picking up a set of silverado wheels on CL for like $100.

Well I might be the only seasoned member here w/o a singe LiftMeister part on my truck. My spacers are MotorSport Tech and they were, IIRC, a hefty bit cheaper, and completely customizable. I've been running them for ~2yrs or more and haven't had a single issue. Some fancy engineer with one of those "degree" things might chime in about the viscosity and melting point of the metal and how it's inferior or something.... But i just use my real world experience on the product: two thumbs up.

I don't have liftmeister parts... my adapters were from Fred Goeske. I'm not sure if they are any better than Mark's stuff, but we didn't have Mark's stuff back then.

When you get Fred's spacers or adapters, you HAVE to feel they're worth it. But you and I bought them back when our trucks were much newer, and worth over $20K.

i remember researching Fred's... high quality, but couldn't justify the price tag. Motorsport tech seems to be a reputable company with high quality parts for reasonable prices.

I have been running Marks spacers and lift for just over a month. I cannot believe that with all of the mods this truck seems to drive better than it did stock! My wife is scared of her own shadow and definitely not a fan of anything the varies from stock. She was so confident in the ride of the TB after the spacers and lift that she took my TB during the last snow storm and made me drive the Silverado (both are 4x4). That alone was proof to me that I will be buying all of my parts from Mark when I buy my next TB. (my son is 14 and we are going to build one together for him)

I loved my spacers, sold them with stock wheels when HARDTRAILZ gave an offer for some adapters for a good price (not sure assuming Marks early 1.3" ones). I like the option for more wheels with the common 6x5.5 pattern.

I trust marks products and have never had a second thought.

This shouldn't be a problem with spacers but I installed my adapters 6x5 to 6x5.5 under H3 wheels today and this is how my hub/center bore tuned out. I've contacted a friend to get his view running hub centric rings.

Its not a problem per se, but it does negate the slight benefit of the wheelcentric lip (hubcentric is on the hub side).

I don't even have a wheelcentric lip. Never had an issue. I would never buy wheel centric spacers since I tend to swap wheels far to often.

I also have wheel centric wheels. Thought it was going to be a problem as well, but I haven't had any problems.
