Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Wheel spacers not fitting.

Need new shoes? This is the place to discuss.

I ended up having to re-order lugs because of the rims I bought. And not to many people selling 2inch lugs now a days on the shelf.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

James was right, they're 1/2 thread. I got the new ones in today and mounted great. Stupid simple to install too. Pop out the old ones, pull the new ones on with the lugs. Impacts work wonders for this, FYI.

Just to point out, Mark is a casting specialist, not a machinist. He partners with a machinist who also sells wheel spacers on Ebay, and resells them.

There have been quality issues in the early days of the partnership with this vendor.

I think it's overdue for Mark to have a stern discussion with this guy if he's going to lock down his errors and ship a quality product.

I'll also invite Mark to this thread.

Should have mentioned that before. None of this is his fault, this set of spacers never touched his hands. Just a manufacture mistake. I'm happy Mark resolved the problem when I technically never bought it from him.

If you paid Mark, and Mark chose the vendor whose products he's reselling, then he's adopted a bit of the issue along with the small amount of profit he makes. I assume you bought them from Mark's web site.

Neither. I bought them from Dru here on the forums. Granted he never used them (or opened the box, for that matter), a lot of companies wouldn't honor this kind of mix up in my situation.

I'm impressed as well that Mark went the extra mile. So it's an OLD issue that didn't surface right away? Might not be much he can do to motivate te machinist at this late date.

No. Dru just bought them from Mark maybe a month ago, and the first set were lost by UPS. Mark ordered another set last week and had them directly shipped to Dru (who then sent it to me). Coupling this occurrence with James02's, I would definitely say this is a new issue. Maybe they were made on the same day and the machinist grabbed the wrong studs to install, who knows.

One of my spacers had 4 fine thread studs and 2 1.5 studs. Mark was quick to respond. I will probably change the studs myself.

I like my wheel spacers from Mark so much that even if they had an issue at first, I would still reccomend them. They really feel like a quality product. It sounds like a quality control/shipping department problem to me. Obviously at the machine shop, not Marks end. He only sells 2 styles, adapters and spacers. Not that hard to keep them straight Mr. Machinist! :viking:
I'm glad Mark took care of the situation. He's been there for me every step of the way also.

I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

Just to clarify the issue of lug studs.

There was a box of mislabeled lug studs that made it into the bin used for spacers..
Note: spacer guy makes about 100 or more sizes of spacers and adapters for other vehicles..

The issue has been identified and corrected, any one that was affected has been taken care of with super expedited service..

We (wheel spacer and i) apologize for any inconvenience to those affected. and now have measures in place to prevent the issue form
happening again.

As always, we value your business and strive to be #1 in customer service and top notch products at a reasonable price.

Thanks
