1.5 Clearance Issue Help

Need new shoes? This is the place to discuss.

by MelloYello88 » Wed Apr 10, 2013 7:57 pm

Looked through a number of threads and didn't see anything that addressed this so far and not sure how to figure the measurements. The question is with only a 2" cross country lift is there any issues with running the 1.5"s spaces. Top center of the wheel wells is looking real close to me. Not looking to do crazy wheelin with it at this point but I have been known to take roads less traveled. Stock 04 LS rims and tires listed below.

My thinking is 2 inches up and 1.5 inches out I should be clear of the fender in a full stuff situation just don't turn the wheel and keep the line.

Thanks Much

I ran that same setup you have , 255/70/16, 2" RC lift and 1.5 spacers. You shouldn't have any problems.
I expect you wouldn't have any problems up to a 265/75/16.

you can always jack up one side as far as it will go to give you an idea but you should be fine with what you have.

that was my fault, I just upgraded tires etc. I updated my build and added myself to the new tire size but didn't remove myself from the old tire size. :wallbash:
