Legend
spacer - wheel spacers or larger offset wheels needed to clear upper ball joint.
2in -2+ inches of lift from body or suspension lift or mixture of springs/spacers etc.
4in - 4+ inches of lift from usually from body and suspension lift or mixture of springs/spacers etc.
6in - 6+ inches of lift from suspension lift, body lift, upgraded springs and sometimes upgraded control arms, panhard bars etc.

trim - indicates trimming may be required.
build thread - some who has a similar setup to the one listed.
Y - means recommended or required.
N - means not needed.
? - means borderline some folks can get by, others can't.

******** it is not recommended that you run anything over 32" tires on 3.42 gears************

Things I did not put in the chart are references to stiffer springs or Mark's taller suspension and body lifts.
A few assumptions were....
265+ may need fender liner trimming
285+ will need fender liner trimming and likely needs metal trimming.
30.6 needs a wheel spacer
31+ needs 2 inch lift+
32.5 + needs 4 inch lift+.
34+ needed 6 inch lift+
anything over 35 needs some extreme work and possibly a SAS.

Keep in mind the Envoy has a little different design so tire sizes at the upper end of each lift slot may require additional lift/trimming.

I know there are some exceptions but I just want to post some general rule and err on the conservative side.

What I think is most helpful is the build threads for each tire size. I looked for build threads that matched the tire size and not specifically the lift combo.

Please feel free PM me any updates and I will update the first thread to keep it as accurate as possible.
Also if you are running a build for a tire size listed that doesn't have an entry let me know and I'll update.
Ideally we would have at least one build for each tire size/lift combo.

Nice work on the chart.

Maybe put the person's name with the build thread. My 265/70R16s measured out to 30.7" for the Yokohama's and so did the Falkens I was looking at. So I don't know how we can note that either.

I know we don't get a lot of the repetitive fitment questions here that they get on the OS and maybe something like this will help as we on-board new members. I might post something similar on the OS without the build threads once it is more refined. I knew I could get good, controlled feedback here.

djthumper, I'll see if I can fit the person's name and keep it all lined up well. I wanted to make the chart slim so it would fit in the screen width but it would be nice to quickly browse what everyone is running.

ok, added names and a few more build threads. I'll work on adding links to the other builds as I get time.
I'm listing the ones without tire sizes at the bottom just so I know I have reviewed their threads because scrolling through a full thread looking for a tire size can be time consuming to do more than once.
If anyone listed updates their tire size PM me and then I'll move you to the appropriate slot. Once complete I'll remove the listings with no sizes.

Hey nice table.

For reference, I'm running 35x12.5x17s now. All things required that you have listed, plus rear control arms to avoid rubbing in the rear. Rubbing the firewall is an occasional issue in the front , even at a bit over 7 inches of total lift. I need to re-shorten my sliders by another inch (total of 3" shortened on the 78" variety).

I'm way behind on my build thread.

thanks Donny, I had thought about adding another column for 6inches + for the few super-hard core guys.
I might do that the next time I make an edit. I would hope even the casual observer would know that to run 35's you need more than 4 inches of lift. Then again I guess if you are new then there is a lot to learn. Hopefully they will check out the build threads to get more info.

I can run 35 12.50 15 with my setup as well, have run a set of 36's onroad without rubbing, 325-60-20, but likely wouldnt work offroad. There should be some info from when I ran 34-10.5-17 Swampers as well. Might help for people looking at oddball sizes.

As far as "exceptions" go, it seems that Envoys have a little less fender room and usually need more trimming. At my lift/tire size, most TBs haven't needed trimming, whereas I had to remove a couple inches of liner at least.
