You'd think their business practices would be geared more toward customer satisfaction when the economy is still crappy

Treadwright lost 3 full sets worth of sales locally already, and I'll ensure they lose a few more.

I was on the fence but their responsiveness sealed the deal for me.

1: Use English. A little punctuation will go a long way.

2: timbering? WTF is that?

3: That is a 32.6 inch tire. Almost certain it will NOT fit without a spacer.

My old tires that size rubbed w both spacers and a 2.5 inch lift. Good luck.

...and this is a scenario where I am glad I did not buy a set of these last fall when I considered it. For $200 more I bought a brand name m/t with road hazard. Good luck tho, hopefully they come through for you.

I scored an almost new (<5K miles) set (5) of 35" BFG ATs for $600 today. Unfortunately not for the TB.

those are 265/70/17, 32.25", won't fit without at least spacers.
You might be able to ease around on the highway until your lift comes in. You'll rub for sure if you turn very hard.

My Toyo's (31.9) rubbed the fender liner near the firewall with 4.5 inches of lift backing out of the parking lot. I was able to take a small sledge to the fender liner support and pound it a little to get clearance.

I think I would wait to mount the tires until after the spacers/lift are installed.

You need to develop some patience and delay your gratification. Lift first, buy spacers, whack the rocker panel mounting bracket at the rear side of the wheelwell with a sledge hammer in preparation, be ready to slice off some fender liner material and part of the bumper cover at the front edge, THEN put on the tires. Putting on the tires will make your truck undriveable and will turn it into a lawn ornament.

^^^^This.

When I got my lift, I could not wait to get it in. But at the time I didnt have the spacers, or the money for my tires. I knew that if I just did the lift, the truck would only look ridiculous and be a lot more prone to roll overs being that the stance was not widened by the spacers or tires. Be patient. You wont regret it in the future.

I hope Treadwright browsed(pages 16 to 18) this thread and saw how many people are no longer interested in Treadwrights.

I hardly think they care enough to expend that much effort. From there eye's Im sure it looks like no big deal. They will continue to get my buisness but only because I see no point in paying full price for tires twice a year for three vehicles, and I personally gave never had any issues getting some thing warrentied that was actually covered by warrenty.

I think most folks biggest concern is that they weren't real responsive.

I got a voicemail from TW on Thursday. They're offering me a pro-rate tire, as what sounds like a "special case" scenario. According to the lady who called (the same person I've been emailing), it was the thoughtfulness of the email I sent. I also received a follow up email. They asked for pictures of the tread depth.

Not sure if they read this thread, or what bearing it may have had.

Not sure if I'm going to take them up on the offer at this point either. I already bought another tire. Gotta think on it.

In fairness though, I apologize for not updating the thread sooner. I'd given up already.
