Dear Donny,
I am sorry you have experienced this issue. I am also sorry to say that the warranty does not cover belt separations. If you need assistance ordering a new tire or have questions please contact any of us and we would be more than happy to help.
Kind regards,
Susanne

Hi Susanne,
Thank you for your email.
Could you please elaborate on why a belt separation is not covered? I understand the casings you use are not of your manufacture. However, my understanding is that your company inspects casings thoroughly for defects before the remolding process. While I am no tire engineer, it would seem to me that given normal usage, a belt separation would occur as a result of a defect in the casing. There are tires out there that are 10+ years old and the casings are still intact.
For academic purposes, let me pose a scenario. Say I buy a set of Treadwright tires, 3 months later I have a belt separation. Say I have less than 1000 miles on those tires. Are you saying I would still be out of luck?
The answer to the above question is very important to me. I am heavily involved in the off-road community locally and moderate an off-road forum that sees international traffic. I have, for the past year and a half, been a very strong proponent of your product. If the above scenario would result in a customer being left out in the cold on a warranty claim, then I cannot in good conscience continue to recommend your product.
In my own situation, I am not seeking a free replacement. I am 1.5 years into a two year warranty and have put a number of miles on the tires I purchased. I do however feel a pro-rated tire purchase would be appropriate and would appreciate Treadwright considering this option. I will obviously need to buy a matching replacement regardless of your decision. However my next project is sitting in my garage as we speak, and it is less than a month from completion. The results of this inquiry will determine whether or not that truck wears a set of Treadwright tires.
Thank you again for your time and consideration.
